The Darwin Chorale is a constantly evolving musical entity that attracts people from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for making music. At times it is a community choir, at other times a chorale, and sometimes even a theatre company. It can change its colours and adapt to different audiences without ever altering its core definition and vision:
to serve as a cultural reference point for the community and a source of pride for the Northern Territory.
With your contribution we can realise our vision of the Chorale bringing people together to enrich their sense of happiness and wellbeing through singing. There will be a day when The Chorale will be woven into the fabric of everyday life, and our community will be inspired and fulfilled through our music whether you are part of our choir or as an audience member.
Our work is important because we bring joy to our Audience. We bring joy to our members. We bring joy to our Territory. It is important because through music, we are the only ones who talk about love, peace, and respect, without blushing.

- Engagement of Music Directors and Rehearsal pianists
- Rehearsal and performance venue hire
- Purchase / hire of music scores
- Sound and lighting equipment rental
- Technician fees
- Musician fees
- Costume cost (cabarets, musicals etc)
