- Easter 1985: St John's Passion performed
- result of previous year's workshop;

- formation of the Darwin Chorale;
- Dean Patterson as inaugural Music Director.
- Darwin String Orchestra: accompanied Easter concert;
- 1986:Darwin Entertainment Centreopened
- significantly, Chorale's HMS Pinaforeis first production;
- continuous use of DEC performance spaces by Chorale since then.
- 2001:Dean Patterson leaves Darwin
- Nora Lewis appointed Music Director.
- 1999-2011:Superstar Productions formed from:
- Darwin Theatre Company,
- Cavanagh Theatre,
- Darwin Entertainment Centre
- and the Chorale
- after a production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
- Subsequent productions:
- Fiddler on the Roof
- Les Miserable
- Guys and Dolls
- Sound of Music
- 2008 Cantar Timor:Chorale joins choirs from East Timor-
- Coro Santa Cecilia de Balide de Mortael and
- Coro Santo Antonio de Mortael,
perform in East Timor and at Darwin Festival
- 2011 Pam Smith becomes President of Chorale
- 2011 Jenny Scott Annual Award for service to the Chorale inaugurated and presented first to Jenny Scott
