Darwin Chorale Uniform Policy

The Darwin Chorale has two uniforms:

1. formal
2. informal

Members must wear one or other at performances. The committee and artistic/musical director will decide prior to each performance which uniform to wear.

Do not wear uniforms to an event unless otherwise directed, or to any non-Chorale event.

Uniforms must be purchased by Chorale members and they remain the member's property.

Scarves and cummerbunds for the formal uniform are provided by, and remain the property of, the Darwin Chorale. They will be distributed before, and must be and returned immediately after, an event.

Formal Uniform

MEN

• Long black trousers
• Black closed in shoes
• Black socks
• White Shirt (Biz Collection SH260 only)
• Chorale cummerbund and bow tie^*

The men's shirts have long sleeves and are 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

LADIES

• Ankle length black trousers or ankle length black skirt
• Black closed in court shoes (sandals are not acceptable)
• Black stockings or, with trousers only, socks.
• White Shirt (Biz Collection LB2625 only)
• Chorale scarf^*

The ladies shirts have ¾ length sleeves and are 60% polyester and 40% cotton

^* Supplied by the Chorale.

Informal Uniform

MEN

• Long black trousers
• Black closed in shoes
• Black socks
• Navy and Teal short sleeved shirt (Mens Oasis shirt SH3605) with Chorale logo embroidered

LADIES

• Ankle length black trousers or ankle length black skirt
• Black closed in court shoes (sandals are not acceptable)
• Black stockings or, with trousers only, socks.
• Teal and Navy ¾ length shirt ( Ladies Oasis shirt LB3605) with Chorale logo embroidered

Supplier

Only the designated shirts from this supplier are acceptable. The White Shirt costs approx $38.00.

Delivery time:

• white shirts - approximately 2 weeks
• Teal and Navy - approximately 3 weeks

Please order well in advance of your first performance.

You will need to pay for and collect your shirts from JAC Traders in Mc Minn Street.
